When you connect accounting software (QuickBooks), we access your data through their official APIs using OAuth authentication. We only request read-only access to the data needed to provide our services.

5. Data Retention

We retain your financial summaries for as long as your account is active. We do not store raw transaction data indefinitely. only aggregated summaries. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Clevara at the phone number provided. These messages include weekly business insights, financial alerts, and action recommendations to help you run your business.

  • Message Frequency: Approximately 4-5 messages per month
  • Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan
  • Consent Not Required: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services
  • Opt-Out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent
  • Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance or contact support@clevara.io
  • Carriers: Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most major US carriers. Carrier participation may vary

We will never share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely for delivering Clevara's business intelligence service.
